I have waited FOREVER for this day to come! And when I say “forever”, I actually mean the month of October but when we are talking about desserts, a month is a very very long time. On the 31st day of October (on Halloween) I received my Tumblr Eat Up treats. What better day to receive a yummy package? Am I right or AM I RIGHT? I know Krisi agrees!

Brunch at Calle Ocho
After waiting nearly a month, four close friends and I gathered at Calle Ocho to dine on some amazing nuevo latino cuisine while we drank unlimited sangria. I can honestly (and officially) say that if you are looking for a rowdy Sunday Funday then this should be the first stop on your tour. My recommendations for sangria: the Havana Banana and Spanish Harlem.
